Hi, I’m Amy Johnson, a local hairstylist at Native Roots Salon in Lawton, Oklahoma. I’ve been behind the chair for 13 wonderful years, and I truly love what I do. I’m experienced in all haircuts and color services, including blonding, highlights, balayage, and fully custom color—always tailored specifically to you. I work with all hair types and textures (curly, straight, thick, fine, long, short) and especially love creating unique, personalized styles that fit your lifestyle, features, and energy. I also have experience working with clients experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy, as well as supporting hair through the delicate regrowth phase. I understand how different hair can feel and behave as it grows back, and I approach these appointments with extra patience, gentleness, and care—both technically and emotionally. Great hair is about more than how it looks—it’s about how it makes you feel. My goal is for every client to leave my chair feeling confident, seen, and supported as the very best version of themselves.
