Hello! My name is Amy Johnson, and I'm a local hairstylist at Native Roots Salon in Lawton, Oklahoma. I’ve been behind the chair for 14 wonderful years, and I truly love what I do. I’m experienced in all haircuts and color services, including blonding, grey blending, highlights, balayage, and fully customized color—always tailored specifically to you. I work with all hair types and textures (curly, straight, thick, fine, long, short) and especially love creating unique, personalized styles that fit your lifestyle, features, and energy. I also have experience working with clients coping with hair loss due to chemo and health conditions; as well as supporting hair through the delicate regrowth phase. I understand how different hair can feel and behave as it grows back, and I approach these appointments with extra patience, gentleness, and care—both technically and emotionally. Great hair is more than how it looks—it’s about how it makes you FEEL. My goal is for every client to leave my chair feeling confident, seen, and supported as the very best version of themselves. I charge a 30% cancelation fee for any no-shows or cancelations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
